Camps will meet from 9:30am-1:30pm
Camp will be held at SHAPE Gallery unless notified of another location.
Open to ages 6-11 $55/week for nonmembers $50/week for members

Classes are limited to 10 Kids
Be prepared to get messy and explore with lots of different materials, please dress accordingly!

Paper Mache Explosion!!!!
Teacher: Angela Boardman
Open to ages 6-11
Kids will explore projects with paper mache as the medium, such as piggy banks, frames and bowls.
July 5-6
Art History
Teacher: Cassandra Blaire
Open to ages 6-11
Kids will learn about 2 new movements a day and create a unique project that incorporates the new art movements that have been taught.
July 12-14
Undersea Adventure
Teacher:Angela Boardman
Open to ages 6-11
Kids will learn about the wide variety of life in the oceans and using recycled materials they will create their own ocean creatures.
July 19-21
Painting Explored!
Teacher:Angela Boardman
Open to ages 6-11
Kids will experiment with new types of paint that people don’t normally use. Kids will work with coffee and bubble mix to start out.
August 2-4
It’s a Jungle out There.
Teacher: Erin Gillespie
Open to ages 6-11
Kids will learn about the jungle and the animals that live there. They will create projects based on this study of the jungle and experiment with different materials.
August 9-10
Famous Artists Revisited!
Teacher: Erin Gillespie
Open to ages 6-11
Kids will paint, draw, and sculpt like famous artists. They will learn techniques from Van Gogh, Boccioni, Paul Klee, and Warhol among other famous artists. Be prepared to get messy as you create your own masterpiece.
August 16-18
Around the World in 3 Days!
Teacher: Erin Gillespie
Open to ages 6-11
Kids will journey to new places around the world to focus on Aboriginal art from Australia, to masks in Africa, to China to learn some calligraphy, and some places along the way. Be ready to travel with us and create.
