Three year participating artist and veteran of many festivals, Michael Peluso, professional glassblower, had this to say about the 2006 Solstice Arts Festival; "For a first-time show, my business was very good," "I expect the amount of people to double next year, and triple the year after that, I will definitely be back next year!

Dear Artist or Vendor,

The next Solstice Arts Festival on June 20th, 2009 is fast approaching. Since it's 2006 premier, the Festival has continued to grow in size each succecive year. 2008's event was no exception with visitors up 30% from 2007. This arts festival has become profitable and enjoyable for all vendors, and we have had nothing but positive feedback from everyone who participated each year. Reserve your space today. The cost for a 10 x 10 space is $75. If you are a group of three or more artists we ask that you reserve two spaces. This event is widely promoted through radio, internet, newspapers and other arts organizations. We will also place your name on our web site with a link to your website.

The festival is held at the Shippensburg Township park, which has large grass areas, pavilions, an amphitheater, ample parking, restroom facilities and access to the "Rails to Trails" nature walkway. Our festival also features a children's area with many creative projects that kids can make and take home, as well as other creative outlets for all ages. Live music also fills the air throughout the day, intermixed with dance performances, poetry and an open mic event.

So join us for a sunny day on the grass with visitors from the tri-state area. We hope to see you there and help build the festival into a relaxing, fun, profitable cultural experience for all involved.
